Edda Fauna is retrofitted and now equipped with an Orca Energy ESS. Utilizing the battery system helps reduce fossil fuels during operations in the field by 20-30%, depending on weather and wind strength. Not only does this benefit the environment, but it also reduces fuel costs. When on-site, the ship prepares for the job and engages a battery instead of a diesel engine. This means you only need one diesel engine running instead of two or three.
